About Nikole:
I started working at Roberts Carpet & Fine Floors when I was 23 years old. I have learned and continue to learn a lot about the flooring industry, as well as working with a variety of personalities in general. I started in an entry level position, and today I am involved in all parts of operations, from beginning to end. There are a lot of moving parts and different factors to consider with the flooring installation process (whether carpet or hard surface). I find myself noticing and critiquing the floors everywhere I go!
Nikole is known at Roberts for her outstanding listening skills and level-headedness, in addition to her dedication to the company and our customers. Once a job has reached her capable hands, she sees things through to the end. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable about flooring and company procedure, she’s an outstanding coworker, never forgetting anyone’s birthday.
Money is no object. What floors do you put in your home?
I would put wide plank, white oak hardwood, light in color with lot of knots and character throughout the house including the bedrooms. The stairs would be hardwood as well, with a textured carpet runner. Add some custom rugs created by surging the edges of broadloom carpet (so I can create custom sizes). I love rugs! I would select something from Masland’s new collection of patterned carpets called 1866—absolutely beautiful.
