David Nagy

I was in the furniture business, looking for a change, when I saw an ad for a sales manager position at Roberts Carpet & Fine Floors. It wasn’t a big stretch from furniture to flooring on the high-end, so I applied. I got the position and learned the industry on the job.

David is uniquely suited to the flooring industry. He is fashion-forward with an eye for design, and technically savvy. Flooring is a fashion and design industry, but there are lot of moving parts; it can get messy. David is a life-long learner and lover of education. He has acquired a bank of knowledge in flooring and handles difficult tasks head on, guiding his customers through challenging remodels.

Flooring is a big element of design, the fifth wall. I understand that, and I’m good at the job because I care. I like interacting with the people that come into this showroom. That’s my favorite thing. For example, a customer enters our showroom distraught, in disarray over flood damage. By the time she leaves, it’s a brand-new start, and I will be there from start to finish.
